Summer at the beach.

Hi there.   Dawn here to share my inspiration card for you.

SheepSkiDesigns is our sponsor for June and it's always wonderful to work with those beautiful images and we're sure you do too.

The theme is "Summer Days" so please make a card that you feel defines summer for you.

SheepSkiDesigns is offering a prize of three images of your choice!

I took the image  Beach Hut Holiday - image #158 and added it twice to my card, flipping the second one to be the mirror image.  I did this as I wanted to make a mini slimline card.   I used a Gina K Master Layout to cut out the panel.  I used Prismacolor pencils to colour them huts.  I then used my Scan'n'Cut to die cut the Summer sentiment.

Do come and share you summer projects with us.

Have fun on your Birthday

Hi there.  Dawn here to share my Animal card for this month's challenge

April's sposnor is Di's Digis and it's All about Animals.

Prize: The prize for April's winner is a $6.00 voucher.

I chose to use a sweet little digi called "Daisy Fun" I printed it onto some watercolour card.

I used my Zig Markers to watercolour these cuties. I decided yellow daisies would suit them. I added some gold Sparkle pen to the centres and a few little dabs onto my hedgie. I used Craft Creations Mega rectangle dies to cut out the watercolour panel and to make the black frame for around the image. Added a Sentiment from Clearly Besotted and it was done.

Come and join us with your All About Animal projects.

Clean and Simple Thanks

Hi  Dawn T here to share today my CAS Thanks card.

A2Z scrapbooking are the main retailer of Hero Arts Digital kits and today I have used two different ones to make my card.

I do my digital editing in Microsoft Word.  It gives me lots of options when using the images - such as adding shadows (as I did with my Thanks sentiment) and to change the colour and size of my images (as I did with the flowers.

I used the following digi sets
Say it in Pieces
Petty Blossoms Printable

I snipped one of the blossoms and pasted it onto my page.  Then resized, recoloured and printed it onto some Canson Bristol card.  I used a Lil'Inkers die to cut it out.  I used Zig markers and my Spectrum Noir sparkle pen to colour (lots of sparkle in real life) .  A few Nuvo drops in Rhubarb Crumble and it done.

thanks for playing along with us this month.  We've loved having you join us.

My card today is a birthday card for a youngster ..... the colours are summery and lots of fun

I used a Pretty Pink Posh border die to cut my panel.  I printed the unicorn out and after I coloured it up and then fussy cut and used dimensional tape to pop it up.

Dino Girl

This month's challenge theme is Sentiment Free, and our sponsor is Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamps.
Dawn here to share my card with you today.
I have used  Dino Girl for my card.  As I am in love with my Prisma pencils I have once again used them

I used Spellbinders Rectangle dies - plain and scalloped for the image.  Added some PP and a mat and then added to my card base.  Such a fun image.

A girl and her Kitty

Hi there.  Dawn here to share some inspiration for the sketch challenge....

Our fabulous sponsors this month are
 A $15 gift certificate from
cart
Bugaboo Digital Stamps will allow you to choose
seven free digital stamps.
Current Sponsor for June

and here are the sketches again...

I chose the landscape design for my card.

I coloured up my image with Copic markers and then used a very light colour behind for my background.  Took some striped PP and then used my dies to make the frame.  Finished with the three pink gems.  I will put the sentiment inside as it was such a cute image, I did not want to distract from it,

We would love to have you join us this month with our sketch challenge.  Just click on the button on the side bar to take you to the link up.
