Here's a reminder of definition of Tone On Tone:

"Tone on tone coloring or layering, is a decorative technique that takes a single or a few colors and uses different saturation of that color(s) throughout the space. The result is a room that can be dramatically transformed just by lightening or darkening of that color."

Here is my project-

I love teal, and I used some of my hoarded favorite color for this card. This die set makes it so easy to have a stunning card in no time at all. This is going to a male cancer patient, so I didn't add bling to it-but wouldn't some gems be great on this card?

For more information on this card, please join me at Just A Nutter Paper Crafter.

A Big Thanks with Birch Press Design

I have a simple card today for our TONE ON TONE challenge. Our sponsor this month is Birch Press Design who will be giving our winner a $20 gift certificate.

Here's my card

This is a simple card. It's one that could easily be mass-produced and the "feel" of the card would be different when different patterned papers are used. I started with a beige tone on tone patterned paper and used Birch Press Design's Big Thanks Sugar Script Die. If you'd like a more detailed description on how I made this card, please check out my foleysfriend blog.

We'd love for you to join our Tone On Tone challenge.

See you later this month
