Blog: A bit of this and that...
Arlene never crafted until her sons were 8, 10 and 12. She found ceramics and marketed unique containers to local flower shops. Lots of dust and kiln firings later, she turned her hand to beading, making earnings and other jewelry. Although fun, she still hadn't found her niche. Now she loves creating paper projects, especially greeting cards and artist trading cards.

I am in my early 60's, married to a wonderful, patient man and have two children, both who have left home now. I have been crafty for many, many years having made teddy bears, done heaps of cross stitch, fabric painting and knitting among other things. I enjoy blogging where I share my crafting and my life.

I've been married to the love of my life, Bill, for the past 20 years. I'm also retired from a local high school where I was a Campus Monitor (fancy name for "babysitter"). We have owned beagles for over 20 years, so they are my fur children. I recently inherited my Mom's yorkie, Filo Beddoe. My hobbies include auto crossing my Chevelle, helping to restore our other Chevelles (5 of them, who needs that many cars?), reading, crafting, sewing, scrapbooking and card making.

I use the nickname Cohenna. I am a wife and mother of two urchins (daughter and son). Craft have always accompanied me, it started with crochet and cross-stitch. My grandmother taught me to crochet and cross-stitch and then came other fields of handicrafts.
I have been making cards for several years and really like making them.

Blog: White Points
I have enjoyed arts and crafts most of my life. I started stamping and making cards roughly 10 years ago. I love to watercolor and most of my cards are colored using water-based markers and watercolor pencils. I have been married to my husband, Mike, for 34 years and we both retired 1 1/2 years ago. We have 2 dogs, Angus and Gracy and 1 cat, Boo. In addition to making cards I
love to travel, bake, spend time with family and friends and take long walks with my dogs.
Blog: Art Without Anxiety
I am a mom to 5 cats; love to make all kinds of art, read & sleep. I moved from the East Coast to wonderful Colorado in 2010 with my fur family and my honey, following my mother and brother here. I enjoy recycling, tag & garage sales and creating something cool out of nothing. I started my own blog and I have been extremely fortunate to make a bunch of great friends, get on some awesome design teams and got over my fear of sharing my creations. I started rubber stamping and paper crafting in the early 90’s and I was absolutely hooked from day one. I cannot draw a crooked line, so rubber stamps became the way I could express myself artistically. I am never bored (which is an issue of mine) when I am playing with my stamps, papers, chipboard, paints, inks and everything else this wonderful hobby has introduced. I love quotes and one of my very favorite things to do is create wall hangings. I am humbled to be a part of this exciting adventure, and to work with this incredibly talented group of ladies.

Hi! I’m Kristina & I’m very excited to be here on the A Blog Named Hero design team. I’m from South East Michigan where I’ve been my whole life. A few years ago I gave up my full time career in real estate marketing to care for my father who suffered a very debilitating stroke. I now work part time from home (but my home office is in a closet in my craft room so I’ll let you imagine how much “work” gets done). Crafting is a hobby I get from my mom, she’s been making something or another as long as I can remember. I started scrapbooking and that opened the door to the whole kit n caboodle of paper crafting! When I’m not crafting I’m at my vanity being a want-to-be make up artist, or my newest hobby, birding. Well, squirreling, chipmunking, and birding, but that’s an animal loving story for another day ha-ha! You can find me over on livelovelaughscrap.com or under @KristinaBeagle on your favorite social network.
Hi there friends and fellow crafters. I am LeeAnn and I live in sunny but rainy Florida, halfway between the Beach and Disney. I used to scrapbook a lot back about 1999-2002. Had a great time with it, and swore I would NEVER be a stamper. In 2014 once learning my first grandchild was on the way, I started crafting again, and cardmaking entered the picture. Stamps followed quite quickly and dies of course came along too. Now I just can't get enough. ATC's and Tags have found their way into my life, and if I could spend all my time in my craftroom I would.

Cathie was introduced to the world of craft by her mother when she was a child, starting with knitting, crocheting, sewing and long stitches. She has carried on with those hobbies through her adult life until one fateful day 10 years ago when she was introduced to stamping with pigment inks and embossing powder. And, as they say - the rest is history. She has been married to a very understanding man / card creative director for 8 years and has 2 very active munchkins 6 and 3 years. Of course, with her introduction to blog land only recently the addiction is now complete.
