Season's Greetings Card

Hello Crafty Friends - I am here with a Christmas card featuring the Waffle Flower Sunflower Die and the Postage Collage Die for the Die Cut Divas challenge. This month's the challenge is Christmas in July.

I simple cut the postage collage die from white cardstock and I splattered it with Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray in Gold. adhered it onto dark green cardstock. Then I die cut the Sunflower from two shades of Red cardstock and glued the layers together. I cut the center from Shimmer Gold cardstock and adhered it to the centers of the flowers. I die cut a few pine branches(from my stash)  from two shades of green cardstock and adhered them behind the flowers. I finished off the card with some gold gems.

 Here is my card-

I decided to make a drinking card for Christmas. I get too stressed by all the hoopla around the holidays, so a beer makes me a little mellower and not a flight risk.

Fa-La-La with Waffle Flower

It's Sue here with a Christmas in July card. Our July Challenge is

CHRISTMAS IN JULY

I don't believe that it's too early to start on your Christmas card stash. Our sponsor this month is Waffle Flower. They will be giving our winner a $15 gift card to their store. Thank you Waffle Flower for your generosity.

Here's my card

For my card, I used a retired Waffle Flower set called Fa-La-La. I mean, what's better than a sheep choir. Imagine what that must sound like - LOL! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white cardstock and added color with Ohuhu and Copic markers. I added a large oval with stenciled clouds for a background and added an embossed sentiment to the oval. For more details on how I made this card, check out my foleysfriend blog here.

I'll be back later this month with another card to show. We'd love to see your CHRISTMAS IN JULY creations in our gallery.

Let's see what the design team members came up with.

Cindy played with Waffle Flower Poinsettia Background Stencil.

Arlene played with a Christmas Tree die and made two slimline cards, one tag and an A2 card.  She kept it simple while using up stuff from her stash.

Michelle loved this Christmas Pup!

Annie created a winter scene with the Slimline Chirstmas Tree Dies

Here's Robbie and a little note to introduce herself.  We think you are going to love her and her creativity.

Hello!  I am so excited to be part of this team!  I have been a crafter my entire life.  I was a teacher for 33 years and retired to do what I love - cardmaking.  I love clean lines and lots of "white space".  I have a weakness for pretty papers and collect more than I use as not enough time to do all I want.  I am a huge NASCAR fan and often have the race on, while I am making my projects.  I love dabbling in other mediums and have been playing with mixed media.  I can't wait to share my projects with you!

Robbie used a flower set to create some Christmas Roses.

Now's the time to make Holiday Cards to build your reserve of cards.
