For my card today I have used the Sweet Roses Bouquet - It's a layering stamp and a challenge to use, but oh so worth the effort.

I stamped the roses in the corner of my card.  This one is a 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" card to allow for the die cut edging.  This die cut was a freebie with a magazine a couple of months ago.  Very delicate.  The sentiment from another Altenew set, was embossed with Altenew Rose Gold powder.

Just a couple more days to join our challenge for April - Anything Goes!  Hope to see your creations.   '

Guest Artist Hannah

Hello All
If you don't remember me, I used to be an active crafter and part of this very  DCD Design team, but due to my job, and a busy life at home, I took a break from the online community, for what seemed like ages, I still continued to be creative, but just wasn't able to do near as much as I used to. However I'm Excited to be back creatively and happy to visit with the Die Cut Diva's today! I've missed so much of the online and physical crafting world, But now I'm ready to jump back in and with my work to help it along!

I'm now a proud Independent Consultant For Close To My Heart, Selling Scrapbooking and Card making supplies, hosting in home and online parties, and I'm already scheduled for my first vending opportunity in November, This Month has been so much fun as I launched my website out to the Public. https://hannahnicoleart.closetomyheart.com/ and giving prizes on my blog which are up for grabs till the end of this month, I would love to have you stop by and check it out!
I also have a page and group on Facebook now too, https://www.facebook.com/CTMHHannahFoust/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/924199714428035/

For this Months theme; Anything goes, it only took me a moment to decide what I would do, I just felt like celebrating so that is exactly what I did...
I actually have a lot to celebrate this month, my new job doing what I love, getting back into creativity, the return of warm weather and my Dad's Birthday! (this card is for him too )
I pulled out my new favorite CTMH stamp, (actually an old retired stamp) and inked it up with Sapphire Blue, and die cut the word Celebrate, and that is another thing I'm celebrating, as soon as I got back in the "game"  I finally learned how to use deco foil! something I've been wanting to do for some time, I love how it turned out, the foam adhesive I used was so sticky I had a hard time getting it off my hands, but as soon as the foil transferred onto it, it now feels so smooth and silky.

Well that is all for now, Good Luck on the Challenge! Altenew is a great win! I might even enter the challenge myself for a chance to win!

Here is my project-

First off, I have to say that I love Distress Oxide inks. But when the Squeezed Lemonade came out, I HAD to make yellow flowers with it. The trick with layering the DO inks is to let them thoroughly dry between layers. Altenews Painted Flowers look great in any color!

Peony Bouquet

Dawn T here today to share my love of Altenew.  I'm so happy that we secured them as our sponsor this month... quite a coup!

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Yana Smakula. Yana is a designer for the Altenew team and is extremely talented. I used her design with some changes I used different colours. My big flower is from Peony Bouquet set and the smaller ones are from Beautiful Day set. Altenew have dies that match many of their sets and both the sets I used have them. I used the dies to cut all the flowers and leaves apart of the berries (I lost the die to match them so had to fussy cut) I used a Spellbinders die(Ironworks) to cut my medallion behind my bouquet out of silver mirror card. The sentiment is from a newer Altenew set called Sincere Greetings and has been embossed with some silver powder.

Loving all your lovely projects. Thanks for joining us this month.

Slices of Lighthouses

The fabulous Altenew is the Die Cut Divas' sponsor for April.

The theme is simply "Anything Goes".  Please enter the challenge here at Die Cut Divas.

I've been playing with this stamp set and wanted to let you see how I used both the new die and the Altenew lighthouse set.  I love lighthouse scenes,

If there seem to be slices out of the card, there are, no fooling.  I used a new die cut from Altenew plus a stamp set I couldn't do without. I could use this stamp set all the time. And YES, the lighthouse is leaning.  oh well.

As you can see, it's not perfect, but it works for me.

I'll show you the cards first and then how I made them

Second card made after

Close-up of second card below.

Shattered Triangle Dies come in two sizes and with several triangles, both with holes and without.  I used the large size and took time to glue them all together.  I started with the inner circle of six (6) triangles, then kept adding.  That's a lot of triangles, but I was determined to see how I could make a template to use for backgrounds.  It works.  I may even build it out more in a vertical way, then the orderly way it is now.
Close-up of the triangles panel.

I thought I'd share a photo of the template after inking too. Pretty cool, eh?
