Dawn here, with another inspiration piece for this month’s challenge over at Die Cut Divas. Our May sponsor is Poppy Stamps, and the theme is Celebrate—a wonderfully open prompt with so many directions to explore. Birthdays, weddings, milestones, holidays… you name it.
For my project today, I decided to lean into a warm, seasonal vibe and create a Thanksgiving card.
For the background, I spritzed a panel with Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Spray in Tarnished Brass and Picked Raspberry. Once it dried, I trimmed it down to fit one an “Ardyth-style” 4.25" square card base.
To build the focal point, I die cut an orange ribbon and bow using the Poppy Stamps Grosgrain Ribbon and Grosgrain Bow dies. I adhered the ribbon across the background panel, then tucked the leaves on either side to create a full, autumnal cluster.
A Spellbinders hot-foiled sentiment, die cut and added over the ribbon, finished the card beautifully.
Another celebration card complete—and a lovely way to use up those special little scraps we all hang onto.
Come and join us at Die Cut Divas with you Celebration card - just remember to use your die cut machine.

Here is my card-
Hello everyone,
It's Cindy here. I am sharing a Mother's Day card created for a new mom in the family.
The card base is Poppystamps Fern and Daisy Pop Up Easel card, it was sent to me by a dear teamie and I have kept it safe in my treasure bin, but today is the day to use it. 😉
I first did a light wash of watercolor on the detail panel, then I use an inking tool to add layers of distress inks and ink blended the oval center. Then I gold heat embossed the sentiment on the top oval piece. I assembler the card base and adhere the focal element using foam adhesive.
The focal element is Poppystamps Nordic Spectacular Butterfly I die cut using both pattern paper and a ivory shimmery color paper.
For the stopper, I used clear seal wax and Spellbinders Butterfly Mini Wax Seal stamp.
The challenge prize is a $20 gift card will be made from those with US addresses only. Now it's your turn, take your favorite craft supply and make a paper craft project following the challenge theme, and use your die cut machine in the process. Please state what you're celebrating in your description, preferably next to the link back to our blog. I look forward to seeing your creations the challenge gallery.

The Challenge is to make an Anniversary or Birthday Card.Remember to use a die-cut or dry embossed item in your submission.Arlene created an Anniversary card with these lovely flowers on a red arch die-cut which seems to create nice sharp contrast.
Sue N. created this Anniversary card using Altenew's Bold Bouquet bundle. For specifics on how she put the card together, check out her foleysfriend blog
It’s time to celebrate with Altenew over at Die Cut Divas! Altenew is our wonderful sponsor this month, and they’re also marking a big milestone—their 12th anniversary. To join the festivities, our challenge theme is simple: make an anniversary or birthday card.
I’ve been a fan of Altenew for a long time—since around 2015 at least. Their floral stamps are some of my all-time favourites, and it’s been fun to see their range grow over the years into stencils, dies, embossing folders, and more. I’ll just say… I own a lot of Altenew goodies!
For today’s card I reached for an older favourite: the Fabulous Florets layering stamps and coordinating dies.
I hope you’ll join our challenge! Just be sure to include die-cuts and/or a dry-embossed item in your submission.
Hi crafty friends - I'm here with inspiration for our April Die Cut Diva Challenge - Anniversary or Birthday Cards. We're delighted to be celebrating Altenew's 11th birthday with them; they have donated a $30 gift card to our random April winner. Thanks Altenew!
Hello Crafty Friends- Annie here with a Birthday card featuring Adore You Add-On Stamp Set from Altenew. I created this birthday card. I stamped and colored the image with OLO markers. Die cut several mats, strips, a elongated hexagon and a vellum leaves. Stamp the sentiment on the elongated hexagon and a sub-sentiment on the inside of the card (see below).
