Hello There Friend

Hi there.   It's time for me to share my card for this month's Die Cut Divas challenge. Our February challenge is "ANGLE IT" and this month our sponsor is the fabulous company Hero Arts who will be giving our winner a $25 gift card to their online store.

I have quite a few Hero Arts stamps but most of them are older ones.  When I first started stamping Hero Arts were my favourites.  And I love pulling them out now and again to play.

I used an older Hero Arts Rubber background stamp (circa 2012) called True Friends.  I used some Altenew Rocky Shore ink to stamp it onto some white card.  I used a yellow gold card to die cut the Hero Arts - Hello There Stamp and Cut sentiment.  The bottom sub-sentiment is from the same set and stamped directly to the kraft base.  To define the angle I used as  very slim stripe of gold card.

Come and join us with your Angle It projects.

We all love playing with our Hero Arts toys, whether it be stamps, stencils, dies or inks. Here is my project-

I met the theme of the challenge with several elements-the background, note, and butterfly. I used a gel pen to outline the wing indentations and color the body of the butterfly, then inked the edges.

For more information on this card, please visit me at Just A Nutter Paper Crafter.

Make sure to enter for a chance to win that $25 gift card, and don't forget to angle it!

Party Fox Double Gate Fold Card

Hi Crafty Friends! It's Sue. Our February challenge is "ANGLE IT" and this month our sponsor is the fabulous company Hero Arts who will be giving our winner a $25 gift card to their online store.

Here's my card

I started with a piece of double sided tone on tone patterned paper that was 5.5" x 12". For the main image, I stamped using Hero Art's Party Fox Stamp & Cut set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I added color with Copic markers. I die cut the main image with a Sizzix circle die. For the sentiment from the stamp set, I used Hero Arts Just Rust ink, trimming to a thin sentiment strip. For more details on how I created this card, please check out my foleysfriend blog.

We'd love to see your "angle it" creations.

Sending Joy

Hello there,

Cindy here to share a project with minimal stamp, but sometimes a little goes a long way.  Don't you think?

Following February's challenge theme on Die Cut Divas - Angle It, I use pieces of "angled" designer papers to compose my card base.  The focal element is a simple gold heat embossed sentiment on a die cut (Hero Arts Nesting Postage Stamps Infinity Dies).  I had lots of fun putting the pieces together, some of the pieces were leftover while making my card for the Jan 1st post (win win), I added another pattern paper to make it look more interesting.

Now it's your turn to create something with angles.

Hero Arts is our sponsor this month, and winner will receive $25 gift card to their store.

See you over at the challenge gallery!
