Bugaboo Halloween

This month at Die Cut Divas, this months theme is Autumn/Halloween.

What Autumnal projects do you have up your sleeves?  In the United States, we celebrate Halloween with dress-up and

trick-or-treating we expect to see some ghoulish, scary cards too.

The prize is a $12 gift code to The Bugaboo Digi Stamps store for your digital stamps.

Bugaboo Stamps a leading company in digital images and we so appreciate their sponsorship and creativity.  Remember that every Friday is a Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps.

Here is my project-

I wonder if we'll have a Halloween this year. I can see there being no trick or treating from house to house due to Covid. I put a mask on the princess just to be safe. Poor kids, no sugar coma!

For more information on this card, please visit me at Just A Nutter Paper Crafter.

Be sure to join our challenge for a chance to win some great digi's!

Autumn ~ Thoughts of Halloween

The days are definitely getting shorter and the nights colder. It must be autumn! It's a fun time to run through the leaves and think about Halloween costumes and trick-or-treating (well, maybe not this year!). We're grateful to Bugaboo Digi Stamps for being this month's sponsor offering a $12 gift code to our winner.

Here's my card

I started with Bugaboo stamps' Halloween Kitty digi stamp. Want to see how I created my card, check out my foleysfriend blog.

White on White Christmas

Hi there.  It's my turn to share at Die Cut Divas.  Our challenge this month is All Kinds of Holdiays... and our sponsor is Cheapo Dies

Today I am sharing a White on White Christmas card.

I took the candles die and cut it from White card.  I used Gina K Master layouts 2 to cut the panel I added the candles too.  I have added a soft amount of green pencil onto the holly leaves (hard to see on the photo)  The sentiment is from Sunny Studios.  A few white gems finished off the card.

Although my dies are not from Cheapo Dies, but they have a lot of wonderful dies.

Do come and join us

Linda and the Divas

Tomorrow is the Debut of our new Die Cut Divas' DT Linda Wetterlin

I met Linda a long time ago on the Hero Arts Flickr group where Linda was part of the Hero Hostesses (she served 3 months in 2011).  It was an exciting time for Hero Arts and all the members.

Linda Wetterlin spends her time crafting and working on chorus music.  Can you believe she sings baritone in a women's barbershop chorus?  Linda is a happy person to be around and has great energy.

We're happy to have Linda join us with her very own post tomorrow.

Christmas is a Coming ....

Hi! Our challenge this month is "holidays" and we're happy to have Cheapo Dies as our sponsor. They are generously offering a $15 gift certificate to this month's winner.

Cheapo Dies sells dies from major manufacturers, such as Altenew, Elizabeth Craft Designs, Sizzix, Memory Box, Hero Arts, Poppy Stamps, Lawn Fawn, to just name a few.

We're having a heat wave here, complete with high temperatures. What better way to "cool down" than to think about Christmas! Here's my card

I created a watercolor panel which I die cut with Elizabeth Craft Design's Ornament Set #2 for the ornament background. I die cut the outline from silver cardstock. When I created this card a few days ago, this die set was available at Cheapo Dies. I see that it's now sold out. However, Cheapo Dies have many other ornament dies to choose from, as well as other dies, you didn't know you needed - LOL!

For a detailed description of how I created this card, please visit me at foleysfriend blog.

We'd love to have you join our "holiday" challenge this month.

Tiled Valentine

Hello everyone,

Cheapo Dies offers a $15 gift certificate as the prize for our challenge winner.

Now about my card.  A few days ago I used Altenew Graden Trellis Cover Die (available at Cheapo Dies) for my project, and I am left with lots of the negative pieces.  Today I made use of them to create a Valentine card.

I used the same cover die along with a silicone mat to sandwich the card front and pass thru the die cut machine to created the embossed pattern/grid.  Then I glue the colored left over pieces on top and coated with Sprinkled Sugar for a bit of shine.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment in black.

For further details, hop over to my blog:  Escape To Stamping.

Thanks for stopping by!
