Leaves and Berries With A Hug

The final day of the Die Cut Divas' challenge is October 31st, so be sure to enter the challenge before 9:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time as the challenge will close.

Our Sponsor's Prize is a $20 gift card, so be sure to play for a chance to win.

The challenge is to use a layered dye set or to layer a Die over another Die.

Arlene here with a big Thanks to Cindy for this lovely Forest Leaf and Berries die cut.  She's made such beautiful cards with this die cut.  I chose to color these in rose/violet tones with my Copic markers. I really like this wonderful set.  I'm sending this card to a friend who needs a hug right now.  She's had some tests and has lost 20 pounds in a month and I thought this card might boost her spirits.

A Birthday Card

I made a birthday card and wanted to show it off.  If you want the details, you can check Arlene's A Bit of This and That

Yes, every little stamp and die, except for the calendar page in the background are from My Favorite Stamper.  Blame my DCD friend, Linda for my large number of stamps and dies.  I do.  LOL

Only one more day to go to enter our Birthday Challenge!

Happy BIrthday. You are Unforgetable!

Arlene Here!
I wanted to make a cute and fast card today with very little coloring.  I opted for this cute elephant and wanted to try some digital backgrounds while I was playing.  Some stamping (clear stamps this time), a couple cool grays, blues and R01 Copics, some heat embossing on the sentiment and I was almost done.  I made some striped cards from leftovers and chose one of them to pop my elephant panel on.

Supplies:
SheepSki Designs For You image
LOTV Watercolor Backgrounds 2 (background panel)
My Favorite Things BB Adorable Elephants Stamps - sentiments
Clear embossing powder
HP laser printer

Thinking of You slimline card

Hi Dawn here with my card for today.

Our challenge for January is "Frame It". Our sponsor for our January challenge is Rachel Vass Designs. The winner of our challenge will get to choose three digital stamps from her store

For my card I have used Fun Flowers Slimline stamp to make a slimline card.  I used a Pink Fresh slimline die to make my frame.

I used a mixture of Copics and coloured pencils to colour in the image.  I then added a stamped sentiment from a Tim Holtz set.

We would love to have you join us with our frame projects.

You're a Dog, In The Nicest Sense of The Word

So let's have some Summer Fun!  Join in the challenge here.
Bugaboo Stamps

The prize is a $12 gift code to The Bugaboo Digi Stamps store for your digital stamps.

This guy is layered and layered and layered. I didn't know when to stop, I guess. This little dog was fast and easy to color (image is in black & white and pre-colored). I just took Copic marker B000 and make diagonal lines across the panel after I was finished, found a sentiment I liked (Hero Arts) and started layering in white and blues.

Trio of FLowers

Be sure to enter the challenge this month.  I printed this trio three times and colored one of each flower while leaving the others black and white.  I thought a scallop edge would work with the squares.  I used the same Copic colors on the sentiments that I used on the flowers and added Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Flowers Are Popping UP All Over

I've been practicing coloring to show light shining on different shaped surfaces and I had a lot of fun with this particular image with lots of shapes to practice coloring.  First I made the card without a sentiment, but felt it was missing something and it was.  This would work for a Mother's Day card for a friend.

Coffee and Love go together

Hi Dawn T here to share my card today.

I have used the lovely flower coffee cup today with the matching sentiment.  I die cut the printed panel with a scallop die from Catherine Pooler Designs and added it over an embossed background.  I coloured the image with Copics.
