Leaves and Berries With A Hug

The final day of the Die Cut Divas' challenge is October 31st, so be sure to enter the challenge before 9:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time as the challenge will close.

Our Sponsor's Prize is a $20 gift card, so be sure to play for a chance to win.

The challenge is to use a layered dye set or to layer a Die over another Die.

Arlene here with a big Thanks to Cindy for this lovely Forest Leaf and Berries die cut.  She's made such beautiful cards with this die cut.  I chose to color these in rose/violet tones with my Copic markers. I really like this wonderful set.  I'm sending this card to a friend who needs a hug right now.  She's had some tests and has lost 20 pounds in a month and I thought this card might boost her spirits.

A Woven Basket

Our Challenge is: Pop-up Creations

Our Sponsor's Prize is a $20 gift card, so be sure to play!

I love  all the pop up easel die sets at Poppystamps, each so unique and easy to put together.

Thank you to Linda for sending me this fabulous die cut basket.  I added some of my own Poppy Stamps small flowers, bird and fairy to the basket and Linda sent me two baskets, so I might finish the other one soon.   Hugs to my team mate, Linda.  You can see what I used at

Happy BIrthday. You are Unforgetable!

Arlene Here!
I wanted to make a cute and fast card today with very little coloring.  I opted for this cute elephant and wanted to try some digital backgrounds while I was playing.  Some stamping (clear stamps this time), a couple cool grays, blues and R01 Copics, some heat embossing on the sentiment and I was almost done.  I made some striped cards from leftovers and chose one of them to pop my elephant panel on.

Supplies:

More Happy Christmas Cards

Frantic Stamper is Die Cut Divas' Sponsor for the December Challenge of Winter/Christmas project with an optional twist to make a shaped Winter/Christmas Card.

I have had so much fun playing this month and here I am with more cards.  I just love the way you can bring this die to life with the different backgrounds behind the die.  It can be a digital background, Designer paper or your own homemade background.  The green card is a digital cardstock, while I purchased the sunset Designer slimline Designer paper.  These were fast, and fun to put together.

More Play With Birch Press Design

I really couldn't stop playing with the String Art Frame, as you can tell.  You can create so many gorgeous cards and get a little creative too.  I had a piece of alcohol inked paper and saw this piece as part of the earth in clouds and went with it.  I mounted the String Art Frame on a navy panel, affixed a sentiment and it was done.

When I was coloring one of the frames, I tore a piece and then thought of making a circle with two partial frames, so cut another partial frame and rotated the frames so both outer edges would show in slightly different colors.  I now have a totally different shape made from the same die.

This guy is layered and layered and layered. I didn't know when to stop, I guess. This little dog was fast and easy to color (image is in black & white and pre-colored). I just took Copic marker B000 and make diagonal lines across the panel after I was finished, found a sentiment I liked (Hero Arts) and started layering in white and blues.
