Hello You Floral

 Hi Dawn here to share my sample for this month's challenge.  It's a challenge that warms my heart... my favourite theme and sponsored by my favourite company....

FLOWERS

Our sponsor this month is Altenew. They will be giving our winner a $50 gift certificate to their online store. Thank you Altenew for this very generous gift.

Here's what I came up with.

I used Altenew Perfect Gift set - stamps, stencils, dies and embossing folder to make this one.  I used the embossing folder to add the embossed background.  It embosses the frame and the flower.. but I chose to stamp the flower separately and used the stencil to add the colour before die cutting it.   I used purples from Altenew Enchanted Garden set and greens from Tropical Forest set. The centre was Fresh Lemon but I added some Spectrum Noir clear glitter pen.   For my sentiment I die cut two from Altenew Versatile Greetings set from purple card.   I also made the little purple embellishments by cutting some paler purple card with a tiny circle background die - not sure where I got it as it is unbranded.  Made a LOT of dots!  I added a few here and there and added some glossy accents to them so they look like enamel dots.

My mother loved orange roses-especially one called Tropicana. She always had at least one Tropicana rosebush at all times, but never in the same areas! This card was inspired by those roses.

Here's my card

For my card, I used parts of Altenew's Perfect Gift bundle including 3D embossing folder, layering stencils and die set. I embossed first, then used the layering stencils and distress inks to add color. The sentiment uses Altenew's Adore You stamp set. Thinking Of You Art Journal Page

 Hello there,

Cindy here to present another Flower theme inspiration.  Today I've created an art journal page featuring Altenew Craft-A-Flower Pansies Layering Die Set.

I did some ink blending on the background paper (mix media paper already slightly colored).  I stamped some text randomly, and applied volume paste thru stencil in selected areas.  After everything is nice and dried, I adhered the watercolored pansies onto the page.  To truly make this my own, I hand wrote "thinking of", the meaning of the Pansies in Chinese.

I used Sunny Studio - Miss Moo stamp and die set. 

I used a free clipart barn onto some white card and then used a mini slimline die to cut it out.  I masked it off and added some Altenew ink blending for the background.  I stamped and die cut two cows and used some Spectrum Noir Aqua pens to add colour.  I stamped, coloured and die cut the little flowers too.  Just love the sentiment from this little set.   It's the cutest mini stamp and die set, so a super good price point. 

Do come and join us with your Critters... just remember to use your die cut machine for something on your card.
