Last Day for August Flowers With Rachel Vass Designs

Rachel Vass Designs is our terrific sponsor for August.   A great big "THANK YOU" to for your sponsorship.

August is all about the FLOWERS and you only have today until 9:00 p.m. to enter the challenge.

The challenge winner will be able to pick
three digi stamps from her store.

Arlene just loves the digis she received from Rachel Vass Designs.  You can check out how she used just one digital image set to create these cards at A Bit of This and That.

Dawn used the "Sunshine Daises" again... this time printed a bit bigger

Sue used "Joyous Memories" image also again and unlike Dawn, printed the image smaller this time. For details on how the card was made, visit her at her foleysfriend blog.

Sunshine Daisies

Welcome back.  Dawn here today to share my card for our August Challenge

Rachel Vass Designs is our terrific sponsor for August.

The theme for August is all about the FLOWERS.

Rachel Vass Designs specialized in beautiful floral hand drawn digital stamps.

The challenge winner will be able to pick
three digi stamps from her store.

I am using a super summery image today called "Sunshine Daisies"

I printed my image onto some white card and used Copic Markers, Altenew Alcohol markers and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers  to colour it in.  I went around the outside edges with a very light blue Copic.  It's hard to see in the photo but it is there!

Do come and join us with your Flower project.

My Own Little Patch of Flowers

The theme for at Die Cut Divas for August is FLOWERS.  Enter your beautiful flower cards right here.

Rachel Vass Designs has some of the most beautiful flower digital stamps ever.  It's hard to believe that I used only two flowers in this digital set to make my canvas, but it's true.

I went crazy for flowers, which is usually not my interest, but I played with a wonderful image set from Rachel Vass Designs by adding the flowers I wanted onto an 8" X 11 1/2" sheet of Copic paper on a Word document.  You can right click and "wrap" your images over and under text.  That's all I did here and added die-cuts.
Close-up below  I like the way the white glitter paper sits on top of the 2 black die-cuts (one is a shiny black paper)  A couple drops of Simply White Nuvo drops did the trick  I only used one color Copic marker.

My yellow turned out darker than I wanted for a sympathy card, but, oh well.  I used Y19, Y00 and G40 on the flower panel with some gold Nuvo drops

Supplies:
Rachel Vass "Special to Me" digi stamp  (I LOVE these images)
Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle dies
Nuvo Drops
Vagabond die cut machine
