Forget Your Trebles Hand Made Card with CAS-ual Friday Stamps

Hi Everyone! Kristina here with my first solo post. Happy to be in such great company with the rest of the Die Cut Divas.

My card today uses this fun die and musical stamp set from our sponsor CAS-ual Friday Stamps.

The Process

  • I started with an a2 sized card panel and stenciled on a watercolor stripe background.
  • I used the avery elle wonky stitches die to cut the panel down smaller and add the wonky stitching accent around the border
  • I adhered the finished background panel onto an a2 sized card base and added my stamped sentiment strip.
  • From there I die cut two colors of treble clefs, and layered them together, slightly off set for a shadow effect. I used a strong liquid adhesive to adhere these down to my card front.
  • To finish, I embellished the card with some black nuvo drops
I love that this card is both simple and quick to make, but looks very detailed and complex. To add a bonus layer of interest, I kept my ink blending heavier on one end than the other for a slight ombre effect.

Simple and sweet. The sentiment is so sweet to use to send someone a note letting them know you're thinking of them. The ombre effect is perfect, soft and warm.
