I stamped a bunch of different Crazy Birds and colored them in different colors, from purple to red and yellow to blue.  I thought this little guy would not be up for mornings and chose this sentiment.  Poor dear.  I know several people who feel this way.  hehehe

Hero Arts Calendar

The last of my 2 year calendar that I started March 2017 is now revealed.  I wanted to also let you know that I AM USING it!.  That's always a good sign.  The color palettes are brown to yellow for the most part.  We begin with the middle of HOT summer and it's still WARM in September, only cooling off in October.  Since the pages are patterned on both sides, I tried to choose the best sheets I could, but September and October could have been better.

Look for the LOVE at the end of the photos of my calendar.

I have a surprise at the end of all the 2018 calendar pages.

SURPRISE is the beginning of my 2019 calendar.  I have plenty of time to work on this and have just started my calendar pages without knowing what months these pages will represent.
This is a double-sided pape from Kaisercraft and in only its beginning stages.

Let It Snow

Join the Die Cut Divas for the Winter challenge.  The prize is a $10 voucher to Dies R Us!

I've worked with some different dies (for me) and I have enjoyed putting them together to make a composite I do like.  I took the corner die-cut and laid it over the ornament and used it as a stencil, dabbing the distress paint onto the ornament.  I thought that would tie everything together.  Visit us at Die Cut Divas for more samples and to join in on the challenge for December.

Pine and Owl

Welcome back to Die Cut Divas.

Cindy here to share another card For the Love of Animal/Pets.

Yes a bird is an animal, it has its own class all by itself.  The classes of animals are: mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates,

I created a watercolor background on watercolor paper using distress inks mixed with Perfect Pearl solution.  The pine branches are die cut using color card stock.  The owl is stamp in ombre ink, closely trimmed, and then clear embossed, and I added pale blue pearl for his eyes.  :)  Here's a close up, you could see the shine on him.

This month's sponsor is Di's Digi Stamp.  Hope to see you play along!

 Supplies:

Hampton Ki Clear Stamp - SC0587

Memory Box cutting die - Forest Pine Branch
Hero Art Ombre Ink - Tide Pool to Navy
Ranger Distress Ink - Barn Door, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint
Ranger Perfect Pearl

Love a Summer Flower

Arlene here.  Hannah asked me to post my latest card here on the 29th, so without further ado.

I used a "love" die from Little B "Handwritten" with a beautiful Memory Box Kyle Stem set upon the Elizabeth Crafts Design card front.

Card standing up

Inside of Card - you can see the 3 squares I inserted through the hold in the front of the card on the inside panel.  I thought it added something extra to the inside.

II used the Memory Box Hello Scrpt, A Little B "you" and another Memory Box left-over die-cuts from the Cityscape Nightline on the left side.
I have seen the front on another piece of card stock, but wanted to see if this die-cut front piece could function on its own and YES IT CAN!

Is it a stamp?

Dies R Us Sponsors Die Cut Divas this month.

Arlene is the queen of using lovely patterns from tissue boxes she collects, and the pattern below is no exception. It reminds me of fractal art, its just too bad its not a stamp, because I could see myself using it all the time.... (maybe I need to invest in some tissue boxes of my own :).
