Happy July 4th, Independence Day, to the U.S.A. This is the day most Americans don't have to go into work and can plan family celebrations and get-togethers. It's a time of parades, fireworks and parties. Long before the 4th, you can hear firecrackers popping and booming into the night.
Arlene here, and we have a great place in Sacramento to see a grand fireworks display at the State Fair Grounds. After a long hot day, it's nice to sit back and watch the night display. Since the 4th falls on a Thursday, most of us don't want to go back to work on Friday.... so I'm NOT!
Here is my card to celebrate the day. This Bugaboo image rather reminded me of yesteryear and I just had to use it. Information on the image is on my blog.

Hannah Celebrates Independence Day swimming, grilling, and watching fireworks and sending some off too! One of the things she remembers doing as a kid (and still does occasionally) is "booby trapping" all the cars in her drive way with "snap n' pops" and watching everyone drive off with a bang
This card here is a picture of a Continental Girl of 1776 with the declaration of independence behind her.
We thought that we might take a moment to reflect on life and the world.
Thank you for stopping by.
