Today is the Last Day of January 2025 to enter the January Challenge

Hurry, Hurry, Hurry, if you want to enter the 2025 January Challenge.

The challenge this month is to use something NEW!  Since we can't tell what's new, please let us know in your post or list of challenges what you used that is NEW!
As always, use a die or an embossing folder to create your project.

Be sure to get your project posted by 9:00 p.m. tonight as the link will expire at 9:00 p.m.

Arlene thought she might take the Karma bus and made two cards seen on her blog.

Linda went digi with Whimsy's One Year Wiser; details & bonus HERE.

Dawn found this delightful Ballerina from Whimsy's digital stamps and just had to purchase to use.

Sue N's recent purchase of Whimsy Stamp's Let's Party digital stamp was the "something new" for her card. For specifics on how this card came together, check out her foleysfriend blog.

Using New Stuff... Leafy wreath

The challenge this month is to use something NEW!  Since we can't tell what's new, please let us know in your post or list of challenges what you used that is NEW!
As always, use a die or an embossing folder to create your project.

We have no sponsor this month, but Whimsy Stamps is giving away a $15 Gift Voucher to the winner.

Today I am sharing a card I made using a new die set I got just after Christmas (present to myself that didn't arrive in time to go under the tree!!!)

The leave die is from a set by Pinkfresh Studio called Frame Builder - Botanical Circle.  There are two dies in the set, the leaves and one with a flower.  I cut the leaves twice - one in light green and one in dark green and did some inlay - Added some daisies cut from Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms.   The sentiment is from my "magic mug" - from a Pinkfresh Studio Foil Plate- foiled in black on white card.   My panel and base are an off-white Fabriano 24ogms drawing paper.

Do come and join us for this month's NEW challenge

Cowabunga Dude ~ A Whimsy Digital stamp idea

For the past seven years, we've travelled to the North Shore of Oahu to watch the surfing. I'm kind of hooked! It's incredible what these athletes can do on those impressive waves. When I saw Dustin Pike's Toucan Surf digital stamp in Whimsy Stamps' online store, I just knew that I had to have it. I purchased it recently and it "qualifies" as new. I sized it and printed it with my inkjet printer. I added color to the image with Ohuhu alcohol markers and had the wavy background in my stash, which worked with the focal image. For specifics on how I put together my card, please check out my foleysfriend blog.

Our challenge this month is to use something NEW. It could be a new stamp or maybe a new die or maybe new alcohol markers. We'd love to see your creations in our gallery here. Please tell us what you used that was "new" because we might not be able to figure it out!

Whimsy Stamps will generously be giving our winner a $15 gift voucher. Thank you Whimsy Stamps.
