Hello Lovely Ellie

Hi Dawn here to share my cute Elephant card today

Our sponsor this month is Elizabeth Craft Designs and our theme is "HOT"

For my card I used ECD - Elephant die and Party Accessories die .  Elephants live in HOT climates... a bit of push... but here you go.

I used some grey and pink card to die cut out the pieces of the elephant die.  I decided I need to give her some arms.  I edged the pieces with some ink - dark grey on the grey card and some pink on the ears.  I used a piece of gold ink gelli print paper that I had made a while back to make my background.  I added some green card to make my grass with a Fiskers punch.  I added my little Elephant and gave her a crown.    The sentiment is from a Concord and Ninth set.

So do come and join us this month at Die Cut Divas

Elizabeth Craft Designs Cute Christmas Critters

I purchased the whole set of Elizabeth Craft Designs (ECD) christmas critters and was busy die-cutting for the season.  I haven't made any cards yet, but wanted to get familiar with the dies and how to put them together.  They are now waiting for their turn to be made into cards.

These reindeer are quite adorable.  Be sure to put the wreath around the neck before putting adhering the head.

This is the cutest raccoon and the closest I want to come to one.

Next on my list are the owl, birds and fox.  I love the eyes on that owl.  The birds are without legs as I am going to pop them onto tree limbs.

These birdhouses are fun and I can't wait to make a card with them.

Even though the sleigh and trees are not critters, they are included in the entire critter set of dies.  Happy card making for me.

I had already made a card with the door dies here.  Have a wonderful time crafting and enjoying the time.   Arlene

Tropical Floral Card with Elizabeth Craft

Hi Everyone, Kristina here today with my final Elizabeth Craft Designs project for this month. This time I'm using their tropical florals die set with some fun ink blending.

The Process

  • I started by masking off a circle an a2 sized card front. From there I blended Spiced marmalade distress ink from the bottom to the top, decreasing the intensity towards the top of the card for an ombre effect. Towards the bottom I blended some abandon coral to darken it up a bit.
  • Before removing the mask I splattered some white acrylic paint and wink of stella shimmer pen over the ink blending.
  • I dies cut my elements from Bristol Smooth white card stock and used distress oxides and the smallest life changing blender brushes to color them in.
  • I adhered everything down and then stamped my sentiment in the center of the circle.
  • To finish I added some faux stitching accents around the circle with a black copic multiliner.

Thanks for stopping by today!

This Parrot Said Thank You

ElizabethCraftDesigns.com

A $25 Gift Card to the Winner of our
August "HOT" challenge.

You have to love this parrot.  Any color and he's just adorable.  I wanted to use the new door die because a friend opened up her house for swimming to a small group of us who work/worked in the same offices.  I wanted to be sure we had a thank you that was fun and summery.  I think this filled the bill.

Be sure to visit me at A Bit of This and That for how I put this card together and the supply list.

DCD is Going Bananas with Elizabeth Craft Designs

Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here with my inspiration project for the Die Cut Diva's Challenge using Elizabeth Craft Designs Monkey & Jungle Leaves dies as well as the  Safari Sayings Sentiment Stamp Set.
This little monkey is so cute, and it is his birthday (actually a card for nephew's birthday and he has always been the family monkey). The monkey will swing back and forth by his tale on the vine, or can be removed and I attached a small magnet strip on the back so he can attach it to the fridge.
