Tropical Floral Card with Elizabeth Craft

Hi Everyone, Kristina here today with my final Elizabeth Craft Designs project for this month. This time I'm using their tropical florals die set with some fun ink blending.

The Process

  • I started by masking off a circle an a2 sized card front. From there I blended Spiced marmalade distress ink from the bottom to the top, decreasing the intensity towards the top of the card for an ombre effect. Towards the bottom I blended some abandon coral to darken it up a bit.
  • Before removing the mask I splattered some white acrylic paint and wink of stella shimmer pen over the ink blending.
  • I dies cut my elements from Bristol Smooth white card stock and used distress oxides and the smallest life changing blender brushes to color them in.
  • I adhered everything down and then stamped my sentiment in the center of the circle.
  • To finish I added some faux stitching accents around the circle with a black copic multiliner.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I love the ombre background and the design. Using different sentiments brings a lot of versatility to this design. Birthday, sympathy, thanks, just about any event could be envisioned with this design and those flowers. NICELY done!
