I chose to use "Jo's Daffodils" digi stamp from SheepSki for the main image on my card and I dry embossed the background.  The image is colored with watercolor markers.

Spring Daffodils

Hi Divas, it's Dawn here to share another card to inspire you.

For our August Challenge we're doing embossing - wet or dry; I chose to do dry.

I've used a delightful Spring image (Jo's Daffodills) for my card, with a dry embossed background 

Used some Momento Toffee Crunch to add colour to the Tim Holtz Alterations folder before running it through my machine.  Love the grungy look with the elegance of the focal image.   I printed and then used a variety of alcohol markers to add the colour.  Die cut with Spellbinders Nestibilites - Petite Ovals and Petite Scalloped Ovals.  The sentiment from Couture Creations was die cut and then stamped with Altenew Honey Drizzle ink.

This is one of a dozen Thank You cards I made for my sister. She lost her daughter to cancer, and wanted to thank the hospice workers who made her last weeks bearable. I didn't think this needed a sentiment, as the embossing folder and image were enough. If you would like more info on this card, follow this link.

Hi Friends! It's Sue here today with a card. We are sponsored by SheepSki Designs this month. They are generously giving our winner three images of their choice from their etsy shop.

Our challenge this month is to use EMBOSSING - either dry or wet.

Here's my card

For my card, I only did the dry embossing for the background panel. I used Spellbinders' Seamless Floral Background embossing folder and added color with distress inks, applied with small oval ink blending brushes. For the pretty butterfuly, I used SheepSki Designs' Floral Heart digital image, which includes this butterfly in addition to a floral heart. It's Cindy here sharing another Wet/Dry embossing project.

My project features SheepSki Designs Digital Stamp: Tropical Image No 239.  I had lots of fun coloring it. After I trimmed it by hand, I adhered it to a background embossed with crackled paste.  I also printed a second image, but I only took the flower to complete my composition.  For full supply list, visit my blog: Escape To Stamping.

I don't have any Scrappy Tails dies or stamps, so my lovely team-mate Arlene, sent me some stamped and die cut images. 

Here's my card for today. 

This is from "Santa's Workshop" set.   I coloured the die cut images with alcohol markers and added Glitter Glue to act as the snow on the workshop.  The sentiment is from Altenew - a free set from a magazine a few years back.

I chose these images from Flower Shop Stamps & Dies, by Scrappy Tails for my card. There is a lot of symbolism here, and I know my sister will recognize it.
