My idea of Warm & Cozy!

One of my favorite things to do on a cold, rainy autumn day is to curl up on the couch with a warm blanket, hot beverage, and a good book. That's so warm & cozy! Here is my project-

I used Darice's falling leaves embossing folder, My Favorite Things Fishtail banner dies for the sentiment, and Spellbinders Circle dies for the window opening. If you would like more information on the items I used, please join me at Just A Nutter Paper Crafter. And make sure to enter our challenge for a chance to win a prize from out sponsor-

Thanks and have a great day!

What a Cutie!

Marsha has a granddaughter with bright red hair so she colored this cute image with Copics to match. (yes, it really is this bright!)  The bunny slippers and sentiment are cut out with a Spellbinder Grommet Tag die.  Check out other Spellbinder dies at Dies R Us, our wonderful sponsor for November.  They have sooo many.

A Warm Drink

When I think about being warm and cosy I go straight for a nice warm drink and that is what inspired my project today.
Diecut Divas, Gina K Designs
I have used a Gina K Designs stamp set for the background and the cups of cocoa.
My Brother Scan and Cut was put to work to fussy cut the cups and then I used a Spellbinders Standard Oval die to offset them, all in a warm brown colour scheme.
Head over to my blog House of Borowski for more details.

No, It Can't Be Recycle Time

Presenting Dies R Us, our sponsor for November.

My good friend, Dawn, has had computer problems and needed a bit of a lift for today's post and I needed a place to show off my three new cards I made on this past Sunday.

I thought I'd recycle something, well, more than ONE something and here they are.
This card reminds me of farmhouse with a view on the world.  Well, something like that

. I'm recycling an OLD LARGE card that was 18 inches tall and made in THREE LARGE panels, each at least 12 inches wide, as well as being a very heavy duty cardstock.  I kept holding onto the pieces, but never had anything that really fit what I wanted until I purchased two of the Garden Patch die sets.

A Little Glitter

Our fantastic sponsor for the month of November is Dies R Us.

A little glitter on the house in the trees never hurt anyone.  I don't use these dies as often as I should,   They are wonderful for scenes, as you can see.  I guess I just don't do enough scenes.  The house can be made so many different ways.  It comes in so many pieces that you can put them together to make different houses.  I like dies that can serve multipurpose functions (at first glance).  Leave the panel behind the door off or take the panel and make a shed.

I love this tree too.  It comes with three different sets of "leaves" and clouds that make foliage for the tree or clouds for the sky or shrubbery.

Let me tell you about the Beach Edges dies.  I use this hilly die on a lot of my scenes.  I cut the sky to match the hills and they butt up to each other seamlessly.

Ok, enough is enough on introductions to a card.

The inside of the card holds the sentiment "Have a Warm and Cozy Christmas".from Hero Arts."Merry Cactus to You"

Am I the only one in a panic that I see December creeping... no RUNNING up ahead of me?  Where has the time gone?

At least I have a Christmas card done, well, more than one, but thank goodness, one more to send out.

I was going for a "looking through the window" impression.  Not sure I achieved that intent, but it's certainly different for me.

I love that Xmas tree die and use it to cut Tissue boxes and YUP, this is a tissue box in blues & greens.  When I had this altogether, it was sooooooooo dull and nondescript that I had to add something, so glitter is our best friend.  I chose Lime Green for the green parts of the tissue box, Time Holtz Distress Stickles in Chipped Sapphire for more blue tones and an old bottle of Emerald SPARKLES. to dress up my dull tree.  It's NOT dull anymore!

A bit of Gold Glitter paper was great for the sentiment from Little B (Handwriten)

I used that great die set Elizabeth Craft Designs Garden Patch die set (1 1/2 Inch) from Dies R Us to make a window.  The 6 cut panel paper is supposed to be the wallpaper showing through the window.

Warm wishes

I'm here today with a card for our challenge theme which is warm and cozy. Our wonderful sponsor this month is DiesRus!
For my card I thought how fun would it be to have a sandcastle made of snow.

I stamped my images on a die cut oval and then colored them, adding a little yellow in the windows for warmth. Stamped some snowflakes in the background. To give it more of a snowy look I used dry distress stickles.

Here are some closer looks at the snowy glitter.

I think the sandcastle warms up the snowy scene!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Feeling Warm and Cozy

Hi everyone, Cathie here with my first inspiration project for November. When I think Warm and Cozy,I definitely think warm clothes and hats. So with that in mind, I thought this little lady was perfect.
Diecut Divas, Art by Miran Eirwen
I have used my Brother Scan and Cut to fussy cut the image, and used a Spellbinders Floral Oval to mat. The cute little flowers are from a Creative corner die that I cut apart.  The sentiment is part of a Justrite Clear set, which I thought was perfect.

October Bids Farewell

What a wonderful month October was.  The team has some special cards to share for this last day of the month to celebrate our fabulous sponsors, One Happy Cut  and Morgan's Art World

Monica is up first with this delightful jar of "pumpkins", yes, pumpkins in a jar.  I didn't think I'd live long enough to see pumpkins in a jar, but, now I can't ever say that again... sorry pumpkins in a jar on aisle 9.
Featuring One Happy Cut

Be sure to visit Monica at Monica's Craft Corner to learn more about this card.

Arlene figured that any image that sports the name green in the name should at least have some green.  Ivy is one hot mama.  Arlene presents Ivy Greenleaf.
