Last Day of a Poppystamps August

Our sponsor for August is known by all and we are so happy they are sponsoring our challenge for the month of August.

You only have until 9:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time to enter the challenge.
Our Challenge is: Pop-up Creations

The team wants to thank Poppystamps and all the wonderful people who enter the Die Cut Divas' challenges.

Our Sponsor's Prize is a $20 gift card, so be sure to play!

Arlene made Christmas cards (lots of them) with glitter papers and you can see them all individually at A Bit of This and That.  Same Stamps & Dies, but so many different ways to create your cards and each one amazing.

Here's Sue's popped up card. She used Poppystamps Flower Field Corner craft die and Happy Birthday Poe Script craft die to create this card. For specifics on how she made this card, please check out her foleysfriend blog.

Dawn also chose to make a Bridge card... using an older Poppystamps die called Cozy Kittens (discontinued)

Linda went with a flowery basket using multiple
Poppystamps pop-up sets. Go HERE for details & a bonus.

We're so glad you stopped by & hope to see you in the August Challenge Gallery!!

Pop up Christmas Bird House

Hi there.   Dawn here to share my card for this month's Pop Up challenge.

Our lovely sponsor is Poppy Stamps and the team are using products from them.  However you can use any products provided you use your die cut machine to cut a die or use some embossing on your creations.

A big thanks to my teamie, Arlene, who sent me some lovely Poppy Stamps die cuts to make this cute as Bird House easel card

Here it is opened up.   I used the Poppy Stamps Bird House dies  and added a foil sentiment to the card and a foiled sentiment for the easel stopper.   I stamped a Kaisercraft sentiment on the base.

And here it is closed...

Here is my project-

And when it's popped up-

I always try to make my husband special anniversary cards, and this beautiful die by Poppystamps is one of my favorites. The anniversary poem is hidden by the front of the card when it's propped up, but easily accessible. For more information on this card, please join me at Just A Nutter Paper Crafter.

Popping Up with Poppystamps

Hello Crafty Friends. It's Sue here. Our challenge is month is

POP-UP CREATIONS

Here's my card

For my card, I lightly ink blended some white cardstock with distress inks with oval ink blending brushes. I die cut the inked panel with a stitched circle die. I added a die cut, cut with Poppystamps' Thank You Poe Script die with light gray cardstock and glued it to the circle die cut. I found a patterned paper that coordinated with the colors I used and cut it to an A2 size. I made a small pop-up mechanism which I adhered to the circle die cut with double-sided tape. Here's a close-up.

Sorry, the "pop-up" feature is a bit underwhelming. In hindsight, it might have been better to use an Action Wobbles action spring. However, the circle die cut does "pop" up and will lie flat when in an envelope. For more detail on how I made my card, please check out my foleysfriend blog.

We'd love to see your "pop-up" creations in our gallery and I'm on the lookout for other ideas of how to "pop-up" my cards.

Our sponsor this month is Poppystamps. They will be giving our winner a $20 gift card. Our thanks to them for sponsoring our challenge this month.
